• From 1989 to 1994 served on the Golf Manitoba Board of Directors, serving as President from 1991 to 1992.
• From 1995 to 2004 served on the Royal Canadian Golf Association’s Board of Directors
• 1997 Champion of the 55 to 59 age group in the Manitoba Senior Championship
• 1998 Champion of the Manitoba Senior Championship and represented Manitoba at the Canadian Championship
• In 1998 received the Province of Manitoba Sporting Excellence Recognition Award
